OUR PROJECTS
SHAMBA
In Kiswahili – official language in Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania – shamba is the field, the farming and livestock activities, the land where there is home.
It is the symbol of fair work which leads to indipendence and of the connection to the home land.
We have been in Kenya for the first time in 1991 and it has been an extraordinary and unique experience. Since that moment we have been in several african countries (Tanzania, Uganda, Benin and Nigeria) for periods of volunteer work, study and sharing.
In 2013 we founded this small no profit Association to have the possibility to plan with our african friends and partners small local development projects, raise funds and support them.
We are all volunteers, so all funds we manage to raise are used to support projects.
