We met Fr. Pietro Ferrari, a Comboni missionary, who attends many good activities in Sudan: agriculture projects, digging out of wells and support of refugees from conflict zones. In this last period he’s in charge of the building of a school in an isolated and dry area, where a lot of refugees children gathered. While building this school they’re doing researches about the possibility of excavating a well.
We decided to support this last project of school and well with a contribution of 2500 euros.
November 2019 update:
Thanks to the fundraising carried on by the volunteers group of Riva presso Chieri (Totino, Italy) during a local agricultural fair and exhibition, we could contribute to the agricultural project “Adopt a hoe” carried on among war refugees by the Salesian priest fr. Giacomo Comino.
Thanks to all those who contributed.
